She Did it! Emerson finished her first week ever at camp. She went to K7 at Kanakuk! She did awesome and loved everything about it. We were so proud of her! She looked a little rough when we picked her up-I am not sure if she actually washed her hair-she says she did-but none the less she made it. She did say that I am a better cook than those there at camp, but that she ate a lot of fruit most of the time. She and her cousin Madison were in the same teepee and loved getting to spend some time together. When they were riding in the car after we picked them up, it was like they were more like real friends with a history. It was so much fun seeing them say their teepee chant and all the other chants they have there. She seemed so grown up telling me all about it. I think they ran those girls all day long-archery, bebe guns, dance, basketball, canoeing, waterskiing, kneeboarding-they did it all. Emerson said she could hardly brush her teeth she was so tired after the day. I know it was a great investment just by being around her these past few days. Thanks to Joe White for making such an awesome, FUN Christian sports camp!

I am so pumped that they got to go. I think Kanakuk is the greatest place on earth and I'm glad we can talk about kamp stuff together. E is such a precious girl...so thankful to be her aunt.
Awesome! So cute...can't wait to hear stories from the girls.
I can't believe those little girls are old enough to go to Kamp. I love that Kanakuk is a place that shares Christ's love and re-enforces the teaching and example of the kids parents.

I too have to say that I am so thankful that Kanakuk was a great experience. I loved the web site and all the insider news we got to know as they were enjoying the week.
It will be fun to get a camp report at Christmas if they haven't forgotten all the fun!
Love. Gran and Poppy
