CHRISTMAS 2007
We were in Tennessee for Christmas and the whole family was able to be there. Here is the whole group. We loved getting to play games, going on hikes, cutting down a Christmas tree for the new Bunk room, cooking together, laughing and enjoying various plays put on by the kids, watching movies and playing the Wii. We are so blessed to be able to spend the holidays with such incredible people. Sadie's favorite thing about being at Gran and Poppy's house was the presents, Emerson's favorite thing was visiting the puppies that were newly born on the farm, and Campbell's favorite thing was Jill, Gran's dog. My favorite thing was the games the adults would play at night-I particularly enjoyed finally beating Candice at a game this year.

I got a new camera from Jonathan and here I am trying it out. It was so rewarding to get a great picture of each of them. Emerson loved it and may have a future as a model with all the poses she came up with.

THANKSGIVING 2007 WAS AT OUR HOUSE THIS YEAR. WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND WE ACTUALLY HAD SOME SNOW! WE PLAYED FOOTBALL OUT IN THE YARD AND ATE SOME GOOD FOOD.

Here is Sadie and her thanksgiving feast (yes, they all had feasts! I made 90 pumpkin muffins, rolled up 50 slices of ham, and 2 pans of brownies in one night for them!) Here is a all too rare picture of me with one of our children, and Emerson. She pulled out her own tooth at a restaurant and she was so excited. Life is fun!

Campbell's Thanksgiving program and Rosie and Johnny were able to come-they were flying in for meetings and Campbell was so excited. Ben, Elizabeth and Hampton met us there and it was fun to have family in the audience. He did a great job-he sang every word and did all the moves too!

Here is the crew for Halloween. We have one talented soccer player, and he has his own cheerleader and a hair stylist for any hair needs these two may have. They were really cute and we stayed around our neighborhood and went to a block party and then went to several houses. We had great weather and really had a great time.

Here they are having fun in the back yard. We put up this swing when we kept Hampton but Campbell seemed to enjoy it the most. It has been great weather and it seems we are in the back yard after school until dinner.

Sadie is a KINDERGARTENER! She was so cute and excited about going to big school. Her first day they asked what she was wanting to learn about and she said cooking. I guess she thinks I need some help! She was tired when I picked her and when I asked her what she learned she said "I didn't learn to read!" She has done great getting up and making her bed everyday-and of course she has a smile on her face whatever she is doing!

Giving Mom a hug after a long, hard first day of school!

Campbell's first day of preschool was great-was I excited to have 5 hours to myself. He, of course wanted to wear jeans but I won out this time! Notice his new shoes that he loves and wants to wear all the time. I am sure he will show them to you the next time he sees you! He actually went to sleep at naptime and seemed to have a great day!

Emerson's First Day of 2nd Grade
Here is Emerson on her first day of school. She was so excited-she loves to go to school. I absolutely LOVE this picture in her classroom because it shows exactly what she is thinking-"MOM-please quit taking pictures of me in my classroom!" She has done so well keeping her glasses on and I know it is making a difference in her school work.

Emerson Gets Glasses! After a frustrating trip to the doctor (for me and Emerson), we realized that Emerson really needed glasses. I felt awful because after going to see Dr. Hughes we found her vision was 20/60! She loves them and never takes them off which I know is a blesssing. Why was I surprised when she has Jonathan and I for parents?

Puerto Rico

August 3, 2007

Here is a sampling of the over 600 pictures I have of the wedding-mine, Britt's and my mom's! It was fun!

Family Pictures! Just so you know, this hat that Jeff has on was given to all the guys after the wedding and for some reason he kept it on and this is the only one I have of their family!

Channing and Brian's wedding!

Channing and Brian's wedding was a blast in Puerto Rico this past weekend. I can't believe that my little sister is married! The kids loved the beach-in fact, this is them playing in their wedding clothes after the wedding! It was awesome because they had something to do during the reception. God was so good-the weather was perfect and the pastor that did it really made it special. The wedding was on Friday and then we had until Monday to just hang out and have a vacation. This is her in her reception dress-I don't have one yet of her real dress. Praise God for fun family time and for bringing Brian into our family. We love him!
